From the last episode... As Yammy Riyalgo suddenly lunches a Cero at both captains. Byakuya Kuchiki and Kenpachi Zaraki continue to argue about who should finish off Yammy Riyalgo, and they face off against each other to show who is stronger. Yammy Riyalgoattempts to attack but is promptly struck down by both Byakuya Kuchiki and Kenpachi Zaraki for interrupting their feud. Yammy Riyalgo rages and grows into a new, stronger form.
Meanwhile, Shinji Hirako confronts Sōsuke Aizen. Shūhei Hisagi and Captain Sajin Komamura both attack Former Captain Kaname Tōsen. When Kaname Tōsen decides to use his "true power", he shocks both Shūhei Hisagi and Captain Sajin Komamura by doing a hallowfication instead of using his bankai. Shūhei Hisagi and Captain Sajin Komamura are both disheartened to see how far Kaname Tōsen has gone to attain more power.
